Education
School education in Majuli is imparted through a number of pre-primary, primary, upper primary, high and higher secondary schools. The Department of Education, Majuli committed to implement free and compulsory education for the student up to the age of 14 especially in the light of The Assam Right of Children to free and compulsory Rules 2011 and RTE Act 2009 in general.
